Artist Statement

Wonder inspires my art. My curiosity moves me. How can I address the puzzle, the mystery, the questions, the meanderings? The wanderings through time and space? How to communicate the physical and emotional movement of time past into the present, and so quickly into the future? The boundlessness of space felt so keenly.

In the three acrylic paintings presented, repeating color and geometric shapes attempt to give light and form, if not answers, to these musings. They are at once investigations, discoveries and odes of reverence. Color reflects the words, the emotion, characterizing the known and unknown of my painted considerations. Abstraction gives voice to my wonder.
