I work with acrylics and mediums to create representational landscapes, florals, and abstract paintings. The scenes I paint are emotionally driven and reflect a sense of inner calm or happiness. Sometimes I like my paintings to whisper and sometimes to shout.  I employ a color palette meant to soothe, uplift, and heal, and I use quiet areas of the canvas to give the viewer's mind a place to rest and rejuvenate. Some of my paintings contain a gold medium that is fragile; I use it to symbolize strength and happiness. That duality - fragility, and strength, brings honest self-expression to my work. I hope to inspire well-being, happiness, and contentment through my art. Painting brings those sentiments to me and I want to invite others to feel that way.
